Definition of Urgent Repairs

According to the Residential Tenancy Act, urgent repairs involve the loss or failure of essential services. This includes disruptions to water, sewerage, greywater or sullage, and electricity, as well as faults with key appliances such as heating, cooking facilities, or hot water systems. It also applies to any damage that leaves the property unsafe, insecure, or at risk of causing harm.
